Howard Allen Brown, age 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 16, 1939 in Steubenville, OH to the late Randall Brown and Celestine Morgan.
Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army for twenty years; retiring as a Major. He was also an ordained Minister and a gifted Sculptor, with two works on display in Clarksville.
Survivors include his wife, Gail Brown; children, Cynthia B. Iles, Wanda B. Wright, Shadonna R. Williams, and Mercedes (Miguel) Rodriguez; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; his sister, Evelyn Coleman of OH. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Celestine Morgan, Carl A. and Wanda B. Wise, and his late wife, Betty J. Brown.
A memorial service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation at 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Kiana's House, sponsored by Mosaic Church of Clarksville, TN.
