Helen Bertha Whitlow, age 96 of Clarksville, TN, passed away at her residence on Thursday March 28, 2019. She was born June 7, 1922 in New York, NY to the late Joseph Fehrenbach and Sophia Weir.
Helen retired from Bendix Aviation in Teterboro, NJ. Succeeding that, she had worked for several years with special needs children at Taylor Junior High School in Mesa, AZ. Her and her husband Albin, owned and operated two restaurants; Whitlow's Tavern in New Jersey and Helen & Al's 82nd Place Restaurant. Helen is a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She was a New York Mets fan and enjoyed playing cards.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Albin Whitlow; a son Joseph Whitlow; a daughter Linda Segal, and a brother Frank Fehrenbach. She is survived by her grandchildren; Luke, Chris, Jeff, Amy, and Stacey, great-grandchildren; Ava and Sophia Segal, Brenden Segal, Owen and Dylan Whitlow, Megan and Connor O'Riley, and Rachel and Kaitlyn Taylor.
In keeping with Helen's wishes, there will be no public funeral services. Her remains will be laid to rest with her husband at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
