Hazel E. Brown

Hazel E. Brown age 94 of Clarksville passed away at her residence on Monday September 25, 2017. She was born November 24, 1922 in Cumberland Furnace, TN, the daughter of the late Lawrence Lyle and Inez Gafford Lyle. Hazel had worked at Memorial Hospital in Clarksville for over 20 years as a nurse aide. She is a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed caring for her flowers, plants and animals. She enjoyed watching sports, especially golf and baseball. She is preceded in death by her husband Casey W. Brown. Survivors include her sons Don Brown of Oak Grove, KY; and Neal Brown of Clarksville; daughters Peggy Ann Spaulding of Louisville, KY; and Gail Totten of Huntington, WVA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In keeping with the wishes of the family, there will be no public funeral services.
