Hans Peter Semmler

Hans Peter Semmler, age 63, of Clarksville, TN passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 27, 2021. He was born on June 16, 1958 in Sachseenhausen, Germany, the son of Elvis Lee Thacker and Emma Thacker. Hans moved to the United States in 1977. He worked as an API Inspector at Acuren for 39 years. He was a very hard worker and would do anything for anyone. Hans loved his family and America. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, Opa to his grandchildren, uncle and friend to many.

He is survived by his son, Alex Semmler (Chelsea) of Clarksville, TN ; daughter, Emmalee Sayce (Dennis) of Fairbanks, AK; brother, Ernhard Semmler (Sandra) of Cunningham, TN ; sisters, Reni Semmler of Dover, TN, Heike Cato (Wheeler) of Clarksville, TN; and grandchildren; Cole Semmler and Lexi Semmler, both of Clarksville, TN.

Hans is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara Semmler.

There will be a Memorial Service held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00 PM with one hour of visitation prior at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home.
