Gwendevere Groce Gibbs

Gwendevere Groce Gibbs, age 59, passed away on July 29th, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born in Horse Cave, KY on December 8th, 1955 to the late Fred and Adra Cornett Groce. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a step daughter , Cathy Roby, and a step son, Tim Gibbs. She spent all of her adult life in Clarksville and enjoyed raising geese.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Gibbs of Southside, TN; three step daughters, Jenny Hall (Ricky) of Kingston Springs, TN, Amy Abney and Cindy Gibbs of Morristown, TN; three brothers, Frank and Donnie Groce of Horse Cave, KY, and Ronnie Groce of Edmonton, KY.

Services will be Saturday, August 1st, at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home with Chaplain Emmett Sexton officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, July 31st, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
