George Frattarelli

George Frattarelliage 69 of Clarksville, passed away on Monday June 6, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare of Clarksville. He was born on October 23, 1946 in Providence, RI, the son of the late George A. Frattarelli and Iris Jean Roberts Frattarelli. George devoted his life's work in service to his country. He served in the U.S. Army for 24 years with another 4 years in the Army Reserves. He served in Vietnam and upon retirement was a CW 3. Following retirement, he worked in a civilian capacity at Ft. Campbell where he was deployed to Kosovo. He retired in 2009. George is a member of the New Providence United Methodist Church and has been a member of the Masonic Lodge as well as the Shrine. He entertained children as a clown in the Shrine Club. George enjoyed nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Molly Haley Frattarelli of Clarksville; three sons and daughters in law, John L. & LeighAnn Frattarelli of Kailua, Hawaii; David A. & Rhonda Frattarelli of Stewart, TN; and George Woodrow & Tammy Frattarelli of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by a twin sister Connie Rhodes of Providence, RI and 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday June 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Mr. Frattarelli's son George Woodrow Frattarelli will officiate. There will be a visitation on Friday from 12 noon until the time of services at 1:00. Burial with military honors will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
