Garrett Lee Ellis

Garrett Lee Ellis, age 42, of Clarksville, TN passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. He was born in Fort Campbell, KY on August 30, 1977 to Terry Ellis and the late Kathleen Ellis Upton. Garrett had many hobbies, such as collecting comics and figurines including Marvel, Star Wars, and He-Man. He loved all kinds of music and enjoyed listening to Queen and Bohemian Rhapsody. During college, Garrett published a few books in the Fantasy genre.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Terry Ellis; brothers: Bill Helton (Tina), and Terry Ellis Jr. (Tammy); sisters: Sharon (Todd) Kingston, and Angie (David) Gamble; nieces and nephews: Jennifer Alvarez, Jessica Wooten, Marina Head, Bethany Helton, Katelyn Ortiz, Allison Benton, Tabitha Kingston, Timothy Beard, Taylor Wilson, Tyler Ellis, and Terry Ellis III; several great nieces and great nephews; and Garrett's lifelong best friend, Eric Provost. Garrett is preceded in death by his mother; Kathleen Ellis Upton, and sister; Teresa Austin.

A memorial service for Mr. Ellis will be conducted on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Gateway Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M with Mr. Jeffrey Kellogg to officiate. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
