Franklin Joseph "Frank" Luppe

Franklin "Frank" Joseph Luppe, age 83, of Clarksville, TN passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville, TN. Frank was born on July 12, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John and Dora Mary Ransick Luppe. Frank served his country in the U.S. Army by serving in the 101st Army. After his military service he worked for Trane, retiring after 41 years. Frank also enjoyed helping families find their homes as a real estate agent. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #89 for over 50 years as well as a member of the Hilldale United Methodist Church. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 61 years, Zelma Florene Woodall Luppe of Adams, TN; son, Frank Luppe (Tammy S.) of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Tammy J. Glasgow (Scott) of Adams, TN; Frank is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Allison Luppe, Kendall Luppe, Jonathan Glasgow and Kaitlyn Glasgow; brother in law, Ronald Woodall (Kitty) of Clarksville, TN; and sister in law, Jean Woodall.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, John Luppe, Chuck Luppe; sisters, Helen Campbell, Laura Brochi; niece, Dee Karon; step mother, Laurabelle Luppe; step brothers, Lou Dell and Jack Dell; brother in law, Floyd Woodall; sister in law, Cornice Jerles (James).

A celebration of life for Frank will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Mader and Rev. Stephen Sauls. Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
