Francois "Francis" Jean Bidini, 74, of Antioch, Tennessee passed from this life on December 15, 2020 at Southern Hills Medical Center. He was born on May 16, 1946 to the late Ferdinand and Marie Bidini in Marseilles, France. He moved to the United States in 1963. Before moving to Tennessee, Francis lived in and around Detroit, which is where he met and married the love of his life and started his family. He worked at the Ford factory for several years, but eventually retired from Trinity Marine in Ashland City. Francis loved watching movies, spending time with his family, and he had such a sweet spot for animals, especially dogs and his pet bird of 23 years, Francine.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Judy, of the home; children, Vicki (Stan) Haden of Egypt, AR, Victor (Jennifer) Bidini of Nashville, TN, Robert (Shelly) Bidini of Gallatin, TN, and Paul Bidini of Antioch, TN; sister-in-law Elaine (Bob) Yarzab of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Jeff Hatfield, Kennedy (Dustin) Primm, Raine Bidini, Sarah Bidini, Abigail Bidini, Zach Bidini, Casey Bidini, Robbie Bidini, Collin Bidini, and his granddog, Holly; nieces, Linda (Robert) Laney of Novi, MI, Lisa Kendrick of South Carolina, and Audrey (Romain) Gouin of Marseilles, France; and nephews Raymond (Sharlene) Bidini of Sarasota, FL, and Stephane (Magali) Bidini of Marseilles, France. Francis also leaves behind a host of other family members and loved ones.
Francis is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers, Armand and Raymond Sr., all of Marseilles, France. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday December 20, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the time of services at 2:00 PM.
