Evelyn Piercy

Evelyn E Piercy of Clarksville, TN, passed away at the age of 96 at Grace Healthcare on May 1, 2017. She was born in Clarksville on June 15, 1920 to the late James Sidney Moore and Nettie Dean Moore. Mrs. Piercy enjoyed dancing and roller skating, which she did until the age of 70. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Piercy is preceded in death by her husband Wyle Edward Piercy; two brothers, James Moore and Wilfred Moore; and one sister Mamie Kennedy. She is survived by one son, Wyle Edward Piercy Jr.; a daughter, Pamela Piercy Tenhet; and one sister, Frances Marie Chapman. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Joshua David Tenhet, Jacob Edward Allen Tenhet, and Matthew Logan Tenhet; and 1 great grandchild, Elana Tenhet.
