Eunice Maxine Harris, age 82 passed away on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 at Tennova Medical Center in Clarksville. She was born on April 10th, 1935 to the late Eddie Lee and Ada Knipp Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denvil Elmo Harris with whom she was sealed for eternity at the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. She was one of thirteen children, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She worked with her husband for many years including 30 years in Clarksville at the Motel 6. She was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Aldridge (David) of Clarksville, Janie Robin Calvert (Jerry) of Tampa, FL, Lori Diane Pennell (Michael) of Brentwood, TN, and Colleen Ruth Harris of Clarksville. She is also survived by three sisters, Regina Wallace, Janice Minard, Leola Fields; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, July 12th at 11:00 a.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3242 US 41 A. Interment to follow at Kentucky Veterans' Cemetery West at 1:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gateway Funeral Home and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
