Elizabeth Ruth Hill

Elizabeth Ruth Hill, 105 but nearing 106, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at her home. She was born June 23, 1917 in Lansing, MI to the late Floyd G. Hicks and Izzila Bishop Hicks.

In her spare time, Elizabeth absolutely loved baking cookies and eating chocolate. She especially enjoyed visiting with her great-grandkids.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Connie Hill, and Christie A. Hill; grandchildren, Adam (Jade) Hill and Drew Hill; great-grandchildren, Everly, Elias and Enslee Hill; her siblings, Patricia Marr and Fenimore (Doris) Hicks; nieces, Gayle (Jeff) Fugate, Karen (Scott) Philp, Deb (Kevin) Kroger, Wendy Hicks, Karen (David) Nelson, and Marsha Hicks; nephews, Scott Hicks, Casey Marr, and Greg Hicks; dear friends and neighbors and especially, Margaret Nolan, Tim York, and Molly Shaw; monthly luncheon guests, Spring (Sanford) Lee and Kris; her beloved caregivers, Kim and other caregivers from Comfort Keepers, Aseracare nurses, including Jennifer Mills; and end-of-life care given by, Christy and April (Teedum) who gave exceptional weekly care, and other loving friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers Carmen Hicks and Danny Hicks, and her nephew, Stephen Hicks, who was married to Madeline Hicks.

There are no public services scheduled.
