Edward Glenn Sheeks

Edward Glenn Sheeks, age 91 of Palmyra, TN passed away in Hillcrest Nursing & Rehab Center on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was born on January 16, 1924 to the late Isom and Vita Ellis Sheeks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Nina Mae Sheeks, a son Edward Glenn Sheeks, Jr., and a daughter Vivian Mae Sheeks.

He is survived by a daughter, Sarah McCauley of Cumberland City, TN; two sisters, Lawanda Parchment of Moyock, NC; Eloise Vaughn of Clarksville; eight grandchildren, Darrell, Ronnie, and Dale Priddy; Shawn Sheeks, Michael Sisk, Teresa McGrath, Jodie Mickle, and Misty Puzon; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home with Brother Roy Goodmiller officiating. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Priddy, Dale Priddy, Darrell Priddy, Michael Sisk, Bobby Welker, and Mickey Sheeks. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
