Dorothy Guess Morphew

Dorothy Guess Morphew passed away March 8, 2016 at the Waterford in Sango, Clarksville, TN. Dorothy attended Tiline First Baptist Church and graduated from Livingston Central High School. She was a homemaker until 1967, then worked at Trane Corp until retirement. Dorothy is the widow of Glenn Morphew and is survived by a daughter, Pamela Nichols and husband Andy; and a son Kenny Morphew and wife Beth. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Derrick (Amy) Nichols, Patrick Nichols, Curtis (Melay) Nichols, Jennifer (Frank) Hodge, and Becki (Shane) Brown, all of Clarksville, TN. Dorothy is also survived by a brother Thomas Guess of Tiline, KY and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Freeman and Mildred Guess, 4 brothers Gilbert Guess, Richard Guess, Dale Guess and Thomas Freeman Guess, Jr.; 3 sisters Arlene Guess, Ruth Redmond, and Donna Whetstone. Visitation will be held on Friday March 11, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. and Saturday 12;30 P.M.until the hour of service at Gateway Funeral Home, Clarksville. The Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 2:30 P.M. at the Chapel of Gateway Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
