Dorothea J. "Dot" Bowen

Dorothea J. "Dot" Bowen age 85 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday June 22, 2016. Dot was born in Magnolia, KY, the daughter of the late Chester Miller and Jessie Ford Miller. She had lived most of her life in Magnolia before coming to Clarksville. She had worked at Ft. Knox for 35 years in Civil Service prior to retirement. She is a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church. Dot is survived by her daughter and son in law, Glenda Kay Speakman & Aaron of Clarksville and 3 grandchildren Aaron Clay Speakman Jr; Dustin Marshall Speakman; and Gregory Ethan Speakman; as well as 5 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband. There will be no public funeral services. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
