Donnie Ray Knott

Donnie Ray Knott age 58 of Dover, TN passed away on Thursday February 25, 2016 at his home. He was born July 28, 1957 in Clarksville, the son of the late Otis Elliott Knott and Annie Jeanette Clinard Knott. Donnie is a 1975 graduate of Stewart County High School. He served his country for 4 years in the US Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant. Following his time in the service he worked with Piedmont Airlines and US Air for 10 years. He then became employed with the National Park Service in maintenance and later as a maintenance supervisor. He worked for the park service until 2012 until his health no longer permitted him to work. Donnie is survived by his wife Tammy R. Blane Knott of Dover. He is also survived by his daughter Heather Rhea Halliburton and husband Danny of Dover and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers Neil Knott of Illinois; Dean Knott of Dover; and Roger Knott of Nashville as well as 3 sisters Joyce Baker of Ocean City, MD; Lois Keel of Dover and Sandra Paschal of Paris, TN.
