Dolly Adkins

Dolly Adkins, age 96, of Waverly, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at her home. She was born April 28, 1926 in Huntington, WV to the late Frank Miller and Bertha Kirk. Dolly was a member of the Apostolic Church in Barberton, Ohio. She appreciated spending time outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and four-wheeling. She also liked frequenting yard sales and thrift stores.

Dolly will forever be remembered by her sons, Paul (Marge) Hamlin and Harley (Wanda) Hamlin; seven grandchildren, Paul (Kathy) Hamlin, Brenda Mills, Richard (Tammy) Hamlin, Ronald Hamlin, Jenell Hartley, John Hamlin, and Dave (Jessie) Hamlin; fourteen great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren, a special sister-in-law, Sandy Nichols and Sandy's daughters, Kelly and Pam, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dolly is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie L. Adkins; her son, Allen Hamlin, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Hamlin; her siblings, David, Bobby, Frank, Jimmy, Erie, Earl, Betsy, and Francis.

A funeral service will be held in Huntington, WV at a later date.
