David Wolard

David Wayne Wolard age 70 of Clarksville, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Nashville following a brief illness. He was born December 19, 1945 in Clarksville and is a lifelong resident and a graduate of Clarksville High School. David is the son of the late M.L. Wolard and Laura Morrison Wolard.

He had been employed for over 40 years at Trane Corp until retirement 10 years ago. David is a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and he enjoyed taking care of his pets.

Survivors include his daughter Cheryl Wolard and companion Neal Slate of Clarksville; brothers Don Wolard (Belle) and Larry Wolard all of Clarksville. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Martha; a brother John Lee Wolard and sisters Nancy Doxtator; Peggy Oswald; and Barbara Jones.

Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday July 2, 2016 at Gateway Funeral Home at 4:00 P.M. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of service at 4:00P.M.
