David F. Miller

Sgt. David F. Miller, age 49, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday September 22, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.  He was born December 30, 1971 in Allentown, PA, the son of James Duncan and Geraldine Duncan of Allentown, PA.  David served his country in the US Army from 1996 to 1999. He joined the Clarksville Police Department in January of 2001.  He began as a patrol officer and later became a field training officer. He was currently a Sergeant and was serving as the District 3 night shift supervisor.  David was currently furthering his education working toward a degree in Psychology.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife Amy March Miller of Clarksville; his parents of Allentown, PA; daughters Ashleigh Miller of Texas and Cristen Buchanan of Clarksville; sons Shaun Miller of Texas; and Justin Williams (Marley) of Clarksville.  He is also survived by brothers Paul Lewis (Stacey); Peter Lewis (Kimberly); Daniel Miller (Paula); and Moses Miller (Alexandra) all of Pennsylvania.  He was also blessed with four grandchildren McKinzie Buchanan, Charley Williams, Beau Williams, and Leo Williams.  Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and many brothers and sisters in blue.  He is preceded in death by a brother Joseph Lewis Sr. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday September 28, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Clarksville.  Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church between the hours of 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM and again from 2:00 P.M. until the hour of services.  Honorary pallbearers will be M.J.
