Christine Ann Denton

Christine Ann Denton age 64 of Clarksville, passed away of Sunday December 6th, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 29, 1950 in Ft. Eustis, VA, the daughter of Tony Derbort of Clarksville and the late Mary Schaibley Derbort.

Christine has been a Librarian Aide for the past 30 years at the Byrns-Darden Elementary School in Clarksville. She has been a member and chairperson of several committees of the Tennessee Education Association.

In addition to her father, Christine is survived by two daughters, Brenda Radebaugh of Columbia, SC; Malissa Denton of Murray, KY; a brother David Derbort and his wife Debbie of Harvest, AL. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband Dorris Russell Denton, and a sister Diane Shaw.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In keeping with Christine's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Middle and West Tennessee and or the American Cancer Society.
