Charlotte Virginia Turner-Green

Charlotte Virginia Turner-Green, age 73, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. On September 22, 1948, she was born in Memphis, TN to the late William Turner and Mattie Hardin Turner. Charlotte worked for the Civil Service in Montgomery County, Ohio. Aside from work, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her beloved family. Charlotte attended Mosaic Church in Clarksville, TN for ten years under the leadership of Pastors Anthony and Julia Daley.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Kermit Roosevelt Green, Jr.; children, David B. Green, Yolanda G. Stewart (Damon A. Stewart, Sr.), Karyl L. Green, Tracy L. Russell; grandchildren, Donovan Stewart, Damon A. (Linmary) Stewart, II, Jasmin R. (Kevin) Stewart Commissiong, Kristopher L. Green, Keisan L. (Jennifer) Green, Katerra L. Green, Kennen L. Green, Lindsey Gonzalez, Matthew Green, Josiah Green, Zachary Green, and Aaron Green; her siblings, Bradford (Janice) McAlpin, Jr., Roderick I. McAlpin, Curtis McAlpin, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and her two lifelong friends, Charmagne Trayvick and Gloria Felton. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Gateway Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with visitation for one hour prior. Pastor Anthony Daley will officiate the service.
