Charlotte Ann Conner

Charlotte Ann Conner age 76 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 24, 1944 in Hartford, AL, the daughter of the late Damon Shields and Montez Halford Shields.  Charlotte had worked for many years on the Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah providing ground support.  She loved to sew and she had attended the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Left to cherish her memory is her husband Torance Richard Conner of Clarksville, her daughters Dee Dee Parsell (David) of Clarksville and Candy LaReau of Clarksville, and her son Garrett Conner (Beth) of Atlanta, GA.  She is also survived by her brother Randy Shields and sisters Lee Shields and Laura Meints all of Hartford, AL.  Charlotte is blessed with seven grandchildren, Naomi, Cody, Colten, Cassie, Jesse, Katie, and Henry as well as four great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Brenda Gainey.  Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday June 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Gateway Funeral Home.
