Charles Joseph Kobielnik Jr.

Charles Joseph Kobielnik Jr., age 67, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday January 5, 2022 at his residence.  He was born July 31, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of the late Charles J. Kobielnik Sr. and Irene Macajeka Kobielnik.  In his younger years, Charles drove a taxi in Philadelphia.  He then became a professional truck driver for the next 35 years.  Charles had a great love of music.  He was a classic rock guitarist and musician.  Twice, he played on stage of the Grand Ole Opry and had also played on America’s Got Talent.  He is survived by his sons Charles J. Kobielnik III of Clarksville, TN and Kevin Kobielnik of Cody, Wyoming.  Also surviving are sisters Dawn Levan of Pennsylvania; April Kobielnik of Wisconsin; Irene Kobielnik of Pennsylvania; and Pat Mellot of Pennsylvania.  There are no public funeral services planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center  335 Franklin Street  Clarksville, TN   37040.  Phone 931-919-2600.  Online condolences may be made by going to www.gatewayfh.com.
