Carlis Ray Byard, Jr.

Carlis Ray Byard, Jr., age 51, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was born on May 9, 1973, in Cheverly, MD, to the late Delores Bernice Johnson and Carlis Ray Byard, Sr. Throughout his life, Carlis was known for his love of the outdoors. His hobbies and interests were as diverse as they were captivating, ranging from fishing to arrowhead hunting, deer hunting to canoeing, wood working to motor cross, and men's softball. He was a pillar of strength and kindness in the lives of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Carlee Hulan (L.A.) of Knoxville, TN, Taylor Eagly (Jacob) of Fort Cavazos, TX and Madisen Byard of Clarkville, TN; grandchildren, Millie Hulan, Walker Hulan, Payson Blackwell, Jackson Eagly and Kash Duncan. Carlis is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with his parents, Carlis is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Stallings; sisters, Delores Moreland and Thelma Moreland.
