Bobby Long

Bobby F. Long age 84 of Clarksville, passed away at his residence on Monday November 14, 2016. He was born May 30, 1932 in Crisfield, MD, the son of the late Clarence F. Long and Aldeen M Wharton Long. Bobby served his country in the Army from 1953 through 1955. He served during the Korean War and spent time in Okinawa. He had been employed for 40 years with Mrs. Paul's Kitchen and Campbell Soup in Crisfield, MD. He moved to Clarksville in 2009. Bobby is a member of the Mariners Methodist Church and attended Martha's Chapel. He had also belonged to the American Legion and the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife Joyce A. Howard Long; sons Steve Long (Barbara) of Palm Bay, FL; and Bobby Long Jr. (Christina) of Clarksville; brothers Gene N. Ennis of Crisfield, MD and Thomas C. Long of Salisbury, MD; 2 grandchildren Steven D. Long Jr. and Bradley D. Long. Memorial services will be conducted on Friday November 18, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Falls officiating. Friends may visit for one hour prior to services. Arrangements are under the care of Gateway Funeral Home and Cremation Center 335 Franklin St. Clarksville, TN 37040.
