Barbara Ann Snorden

Barbara Ann Snorden, age 69, of Clarksville, TN transitioned from this earthly life on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was born on July 26, 1954 in Clarksville, TN to the late Roy Snorton and Clady May Keesee.
Barbara was educated in the Montgomery County School System. She attended Cobb Elementary School, Burt High School, and later Clarksville High School, where she graduated from. She also attended Austin Peay State University for a few years.
Barbara was a faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church since she was a little child. Barbara not only was a servant of God, but she was a servant of his followers. She served as the head of the kitchen committee and sung melodies to heaven as a choir member and director. Barbara also used her talents to serve as a leader, secretary of the church, treasury, and on the mother's board. Barbara was a honorable woman. She was a people person, and had a kind, lovable, and nurturing spirit. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her soulmate, Frank Adams Sr.; her children, Charlene Quarles, Chilita Jeffrey, and Chris Terry; her children in love; Tina ( Robert) McIntyre, James Adams, Tracey Epps, Frank (Felicia) Adams Jr. David (LaShiuna) Adams; siblings, Ronnie James (Wanda) Snorden, and Kenny Snorton; her aunt, Berline White; and a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her two brothers, Danny Snorton and Charles Snorden; her sister, Katherine Snorton, and her two children, Calvin Snorden, and Ceresa Snorden.
Benjamin Franklin once said, “Lost time is never found again". As we say our goodbyes, let’s remember, even though we won’t get the time we all shared with her, the memories we have will never be lost.
A funeral service will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. with visitation at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow the service at Riverview Cemetery in Clarksville, TN.
