April Lynn Trahan

April Lynn Kniebuehler–Trahan passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 21, 2022, in Clarksville, TN. April was born on February 10, 1964 to Mike and Lynn Kniebuehler in Libertyville, IL.

From a young age, April’s love of animals was evident and throughout her life, she found her greatest joy in caring for her family of four-legged friends.  April turned that passion into a life well lived by participating in 4H as a youth, becoming a certified farrier, training as a veterinarian technician, hauling animals throughout the country as her profession, and showing world champion quarter horses.

April’s unending love for her family and friends was displayed in the countless ways she offered her time, talents, energy, and support, to any in need.  Whether it be through sharing her kindness and concern during a two-hour phone call, or by dropping everything else to travel cross country to help, April never failed to give all that she had (and sometimes more) to all of those who were blessed to know her.  

Left to cherish April’s memory are her husband Kenneth Trahan, her two brothers Kurt and Greg Kniebuehler, and her extended Rohweder family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorial service to be held in Oregon at a later date.
