Anthony Eugene "Ton Ton or Tony" Shamell Jr.

"The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me" Hebrews 13:6 Anthony Eugene Shamell, Jr. affectionately known as "Tony" or "Ton Ton" by family and friends, was born on January 31, 1987, the son of Stephanie (Brian) Burney and Anthony (Patrina) Shamell, Sr. Tony entered Heaven's gates on January 23, 2018. Tony accepted Christ at an early age and loved the Lord Jesus. Tony was baptized at First Baptist Church and later attended Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church. Tony was educated in the public schools of Clarksville-Montgomery County. He last attended Rossview school. Tony was a loving, kind and compassionate person, who would help anyone. He wore a smile every day and kept the laughter going. Though your smile is gone forever and your hand we can not touch. We have so many memories of the one we loved so much. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part, God has you in His keeping. We have you in our hearts. Tony is survived by his parents, Stephanie (Brian) Burney and Anthony (Patrina) Shamell, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Zy-Inthiea Thai-Nashes Renee (Ty) Wallace whom he loved with all his heart; his companion Charlotte Barker; sisters Bianca and Brianna Hutchison, Clarksville, TN; brothers Kenny (Tishanda) Ellis, Jawaun Shamell, Ke'Marious Shamell, Clarksville, TN; Maternal Grandmother Erva (Bootsie) Hutchison and Paternal grandmother Dorothy Sanders. He is also survived by Aunts, Connie (Robert) Clark, Robin (Roy) Hutchison, Krystal Hutchison, Rhonda Perry, Latesa Hutchison, Eufonda (Ron) Eldridge of Clarksville, TN. Charlotte Strickland, Lakewood, WA, Rhonda (Leodis) Moore, Indianapolis, IN, Fonda (Donnie) Malone, Memphis, TN, Liz Anderson, Birmingham, AL, and Nadine Sanders, Nashville, TN. Uncles, Howard Shamell, Mark (Vanessa) Hutchison, Jason (Veronica) Hutchison, Kevin (Stephanie) Hutchison, Willie Shamell, Bennie Sanders, Jr. of Clarksville,TN, Cedric (Patty) Hutchison, Marietta, GA. Niece, Jayla Hutchison, Clarksville, TN. Nephews, Jayceon Hutchison, Ayden Parker, Zah'Varius Dix of Clarksville, TN, as well as a host of relatives and friends. . Tony is preceded in death by his sister, Shanel Brown, grandfathers Reverend Bennie (Dorothy) Sanders and Willie (Sandra) Hutchison. Tony loved everyone unconditionally but he had a special love and relationship with his Grandmother Bootsie and Aunt Connie. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 12 noon at the Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church 900 Franklin Street Clarksville, TN. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Gateway Funeral Home.
